Role Purpose

We're looking for a star Account Executive to drive sales of both the Strikead Fusion and StrikeAd Engage products, helping to deliver performance and scale of our Global Mobile Ad Platform business.

Specifically, candidates will be responsible for generating revenues by negotiating a broad range of mobile advertising deals with top-tier advertising agencies & mobile specific planning & buying specialists. A consultative selling style is desired, coupled with the structure and organizational skills needed to drive a long sales cycle. Candidates must feel comfortable prospecting, and negotiating in person and via phone on both transactional and high value/exposure deals. An ability to identify, develop and manage a valuable prospect list based on the StrikeAd offerings is crucial. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through, the ideal candidates will be self-motivated and highly goal-oriented in order to achieve ambitious targets.

Team/Department Mission

You would report to the Sales Director (and in his absence the Group CEO, Alex Rahaman) and focus on campaign delivery, agency deployment and product development

Key Accountabilities

  • Assisting the Sales Director on development of major client pitches
  • Acting as a strong subject matter expert and evangelist and contributing to market visibility through industry events
  • Business performance responsibilities:
  • Driving to exceed mobile advertising P&L goals and path to profitability.
  • Plan and execute strategies in partnership with operations to grow client and supply base effectively and profitably.
  • Build and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure revenue targets are met
  • Present and sell all StrikeAd products, including Engage and Fusion to market
  • Grow and deepen the agency relationships and your understanding of the clients and industries they service

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • The candidate should have an excellent track record and knowledge of internet advertising and/or mobile advertising to step into a key position accelerating StrikeAd's mobile advertising business.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent business judgment and expertise in mobile advertising, online advertising, and/or mobile products and services. S/he will also have a strong track record of execution results, and the ability to lead key initiatives from incubation to scale. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to help build and scale a significant Global Business

1) Essential Experience

The ideal candidate should have media sales experience. S/he should have a deep understanding of online and mobile advertising products or other interactive media experience with an ideal emphasis on mobile.

StrikeAd Fusion is a proprietary technology platform created to answer the ever growing need for media planning and advertising agencies to manage their mobile campaigns effectively through a single platform which allows agencies to plan, execute, and evaluate hundreds of mobile campaigns, globally on minute-by-minute basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced mobile ad operations professional wishing to increase their responsibilities and move to an exciting new mobile advertising media business.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of setup, pacing, optimization, and reporting of ad campaigns; manage, and be accountable for setup and operations quality metrics; review and test creative, to understand and QA varying rich media creative types from numerous vendors ( ie Celtra, Crisp, etc).
  • Develop understanding and work with StrikeAd Mobile DSP Technology for the technical ad implementation of new campaigns including mobile, video and custom ad executions.
  • Setup and troubleshoot all ad products into the demand-side platform. Provide QA for the Account Management team on technical ad work.
  • Modify proposals for new and existing campaigns, optimizations, and cancellations.
  • Report and understand third party vendor delivery and implementation across all media campaigns.
  • Review banner ad submissions and ensure they adhere to technical specifications.
  • Provide continuous internal and external customer service (client and team inquires, requests).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years ad setup (trafficking) / operations experience
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in completing tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience with ad-serving technologies, including DoubleClick (DART), Atlas, Pointroll, Fluent, and Eyeblaster
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal ways to deliver, traffic, troubleshoot, and QA campaigns
  • Knowledge of basic CRM systems
  • Familiarity with computer coding languages, specifically HTML, HTML5, Java, Flash
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with a strength in analysing data
  • Must be fluent in English and Other Languages a plus

Job Purpose

Management, supervision and improvement of the day-to-day activities of the Finance department; preparation of management accounts on a monthly basis, including profit and loss account and balance sheet, together with commentary and variance analysis, work closely with senior management team to assess and control financial risks, supporting senior management team to develop appropriate new/enhanced business KPIs.

  • Proven track record as a Management Accountant

Job Functions

  • Smooth running of the finance function and implementation of necessary financial controls
  • All bookkeeping functions on Quickbooks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, prepayments, VAT returns, expenses, journals, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset register and trial balance
  • Cash management and cash flow forecasting, managing bank accounts and maintaining relationships with the company bankers
  • Preparation of management accounts on a monthly basis, including profit and loss account and balance sheet, together with commentary and variance analysis
  • Preparation of weekly commercial information, sales analysis and key performance indicators
  • Monitoring of aged creditors and ensuring payments to suppliers, regularly review all supplier agreements to minimise operating costs and obtain best value for money.
  • Responsible for preparation and dispatch of accurate and timely client statements and invoices to be sent to advertisers
  • Ensure all client invoices are chased up in an appropriate and timely manner to maximise cash flow and minimise risk of bad debts.
  • Assist in the production of annual budgets and forecasts in line with the needs of the business
  • Assessment of suppliers, assisting with the development of company purchasing policy
  • Liaison with external auditors, and preparation of relevant schedules for the annual audit
  • Oversee payroll (including calculation of bonuses and commissions), PAYE, VAT, corporation tax and other regulatory obligations ensuring that relevant returns are submitted on time.
  • Oversee all aspects of office management and administration, ensuring office operates efficiently and cost-effectively at all times.
